Myrtle Crumpton Hayes enjoyed the company of family and friends under the pavilion at her home place as she celebrated her 90th birthday.

She was born April 25, 1919, the daughter of the late Archie Joseph and Blonnie Rasberry Crumpton and the wife of the late Audie Reece Hayes.

She has two daughters, Wanda (Willie) Stinson, and Reba (Tommie) Tucker; three grandchildren, Bethany Marler, Rachel (Chris) Cleckley, and John (Jenny) Huett; and three great grandchildren, Cody Huett, Jade Parker and Austin Huett. She is the oldest active member of Union Springs Baptist Church.
