The second round of the annual East-West baseball tournament scheduled for Saturday at Clanton’s Jack Hayes Field has been postponed because of heavy rain in the area.

The two seven-inning games will be played beginning at noon on Monday.

The event is sponsored by the Clanton Lions Club and Clanton Evening Lions Club. 16 players from central Alabama will be chosen after Monday’s games to advance to the final round of play, in Birmingham.
