Cleveland Lester Powell, 87, of Prattville died Sunday, May 17 at his residence.
He was born on Friday, July 8, 1921 in Chilton County, son of the late Leland Powell and the late Nettie Davenport Powell.
He was an assembly worker.
Surviving are his Wife, Sara Powell of Prattville; four sons, Donnie (Connie) Powell of Prattville, Larry (Kathy) Powell of Prattville, Randy (Sue) Powell of Prattville, David Powell of Prattville; two daughters, Gail (Steve) Coe of Prattville, Debbie (Bill) Simon of Prattville; 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald Powell of Birmingham.
Services will be held Tuesday, May 19 at 2 p.m. at Big Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold and the Rev. Doug Powell officiating.
Interment will follow in Big Springs Baptist Cemetery, Billingsley.
