Thomas Earl Gore, 79, of Clanton died Friday, May 8 at his residence.
He was born Thursday, Jan. 30, 1930 in Chilton County, son of the late Elijah G. Gore and the late Ellen Victoria Lawrence Gore.
He was an electrician.
Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Debbie (Wayne) Howell of Clanton; two brothers, Mr. Bobby (Nancy) Gore of Clanton, Mr. Ronnie (Denise) Gore of Clanton; sister, Mrs. Rebecca Avery of Georgia; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Winnie Mae Gore and daughter, Mrs. Patricia Patterson.
Services were held Monday, May 11, at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Smitherman officiating.
Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery. Martin Funeral Home directing.
