James Nobles

James Everett Nobles, 86, of Fitzgerald died Monday, May 11 at Fitzgerald Nursing Home in Fitzgerald, Ga.
He was born Tuesday, March 27, 1923 in Elmore County, son of the late Ocie Nobles and the late Catherine Fuller Nobles.
He was a logger.
Surviving are his two daughters, Linda Whitman of Fitzgerald, Ga.; Dean Atkinson of Calera; two sons, Gene Burnette of Cooper, James Burnette of Calera; 17 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Nobles; and son, Dale Burnette.
Services will be held Wednesday, May 13, at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Willard Scott officiating.
Interment will follow in Coosa River Cemetery, Elmore.
