She was born on Tuesday, September 2, 1952 in Jefferson Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late Elliott Thigpen and Ruby Hayes Thigpen.

She was a Registered Nurse.

Surviving are her 2 Sons, Mr. Scott (Shannon) Stokes of Clanton, AL, Mr. Stephen H. Stokes of Clanton, AL; Mother, Mrs. Ruby Hayes Thigpen of Clanton, AL; Sister, Ms. Vanessa Thigpen of Birmingham, AL; 2 Brothers, Mr. James E. (Cindy) Thigpen of Elberta, AL, Mr. Jody Thigpen of Pensacola, FL; Good Friend, Mr. Gary Brown of Centerville, AL.

Friends will be received from 10:00-12:00, Thursday, April 30, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Thursday, April 30, 2009, at 12:00PM. at Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Wayne Murphy and Rev. Jay Hurd officiating.

Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton, AL
