Jewel Marie Deason, 93, of Montgomery died Sunday, April 26 at Arrowhead Manor, Montgomery.
She was born Sunday, Jan. 9, 1916 in Coosa County, daughter of the late John H. Hilyer and the late Minnie Lee Williams Hilyer.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her son, James Carl (Marjorie) Deason of Pike Road; daughter, Norma Deason (James) Willis of Billingsley; four granddaughters, Darla (Bobby) Howorth of Montgomery, Andrea ( Keith) Tyus of Peachtree City, Ga.; Leighia Willis of New York, NY; April (Walter) McKay of Montgomery; grandson, Todd Willis of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; great granddaughters, Taylor Tyus, Morgan Tyus, Rachael Howorth, Julie Howorth.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Estes Edward Deason.
Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m., Tuesday, April 28 at Billingsley Baptist Church.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Billingsley Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert McMicken officiating.
Interment will follow in Big Springs Baptist Cemetery, Billingsley.
