Four strokes cost Chilton County’s golf team its perfect record on April 15.

The Tigers fell at Chelsea, 152-156, for their first loss of the season. The top scorers for CCHS were Blake Jenkins (36 on nine holes), Chase Parrish (38), Forrest Knight (41) and Matt Moore (41).

CCHS bounced back to defeat both Pell City and Sylacauga the next day. The Tigers posted a 159, compared to Pell City’s 167 and Sylacauga’s 173.

Top scorers for the Tigers (9-1) were Knight (38), Jenkins (39) and Matt Moore, Chase Parrish and Ivan Truss, each with a 41.

CCHS will host Isabella and Jemison beginning at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
