Chilton County’s golf team improved its record to 7-0 with wins over Sylacauga and Shelby County on March 26 and 30, respectively.

The Tigers outscored Sylacauga 148-158. Forrest Knight shot a 34 on nine holes, Blake Jenkins shot a 35, Matt Moore a 36 and Chase Parrish a 43.

Then, Chilton defeated SCHS 147 to 178. Chilton County’s top scorers were Knight (35), Jenkins (36), Parrish (36) and Moore (40).

Next for the Tigers is visit today to Deer Valley Links to play Chelsea.
