Cleckler gets master’s degree from North Alabama

FLORENCE — Six hundred fifty-nine undergraduate and graduate candidates who completed their degrees during fall 2008 received their diplomas during commencement Dec. 12, 2008.

Among the graduates was James Lee Cleckler of Clanton who received a master’s degree in business administration.

Stephens named to University of Mobile Dean’s List

MOBILE — The University of Mobile has released the names of students named to the Dean’s List for the 2008 Fall academic period.

Hannah M. Stephens of Jemison was one of the students named to the Dean’s List.

In order to make the Dean’s List, a student must maintain a 3.5 grade point average or higher while enrolled as a full-time student.
