The Jemison boys tennis team won its season opening match last night, 6-3, against Holtville.

Doubles winners included Cole Thompson and Brett Smith, and Andrew Morton and Jake Long. Singles winners were Drew Posey, Thompson, Morton and Long.

Also, the Jemison girls evened up their record to 1-1 with a 5-4 win over Holtville.

The doubles winners were Jonica Hicks and Tara Foster, and Ashley Gothard and Ashley Garrett. Singles winners were Alyssa Childress, Foster and Karie Hollingsworth.
