Willodean Jones, 83, of Clanton died Monday, Feb. 23, at St. Vincent’s Hospital East, Birmingham.
She was born on Friday, Sept. 11, 1925 in, daughter of the late Andrew Cleckley and the late Susie Vines Cleckley. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her daughter, Annette (Clyde Brasher) Mims of Clanton; grandson, Greg (Renee) Mims of Clanton; great-granddaughter, Kaelyln Mims of Clanton; sister, Marie Headley of Clanton; step-grandchildren, Rachel Cleckler, Maggie Brasher; Several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Jones.
Friends will be received from noon-2 p.m. today, Feb. 25, at Zion Ridge Church of God. Services will be held today, Feb. 25, at 2 p.m. at Zion Ridge Church of God with the Rev. Tony Thomas and the Rev. Paul Lett officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Clanton.
