Clanton ALFA agent receives Distinguished Service Award

David Locke of Clanton agent for ALFA Insurance, received the Bronze Distinguished Service Award for 2008 during the company’s annual awards ceremony in Montgomery.

The ceremony, held Feb. 17, recognized ALFA’s best agents and managers for their dedicated work and commitment to policyholders. Locke has served as an Alfa agent for nine years and serves policyholders at 301 1st St. N. in Clanton. He represents the company’s full line of insurance for auto, home, life and business.

Locke serves on the local PEECH board and as is involved as a leader in his local Boy Scouts of America unit. He also enjoys coaching upward basketball and Dixie Youth Baseball.

A native of Chilton County, Locke is married to the former Kimiera McDaniel of Clanton, AL and they have two children, Riley and Emma Kate. They attend First United Methodist Church in Clanton.
