The students of Chilton County High School will present “Blast from the Past” this weekend and next weekend in the school’s auditorium.
Show times are Friday and Saturday, Feb. 20-21 at 7 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday, Feb. 27-28 at 7 p.m.
Event co-coordinator Rick McKee said tickets are still available.
“There are still good seats each night,” he said.
“It’s going to be a really good show. We are pleased with all the kids.”
A variety of numbers spans musical genres across the decades. This year there are several songs from the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s, as well as more recent hits. These range from The Chordettes’ “Mr. Sandman,” to Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” to a Spice Girls song.
“It’s a really good mix this year,” McKee said.
Tickets are $7 apiece and are available from the school office or from any cast member. Proceeds go toward the school. For more information, call the school at 280-2710.
