Linda Shumate and Franklin Langston of Jemison are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Stacy Langston, to S.C. Ray Jr., son of Frances Ray and the late S.C. Ray, of Montevallo.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Jemison High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Montevallo, where she studied accounting. She is employed at McKinnon Motors.

The prospective groom is a 1994 graduate of Montevallo High School. He is employed at Builders FirstSource.

The wedding is scheduled for Feb. 21 at Fountain of Life Church of God.
