Joseph Carl Jones, 66, of Jemison died Tuesday, Feb. 10, in Jemison.

He was born on Monday, July 6, 1942 in Alabama, son of the late Ernie Jones and the late Louvene Langston Jones. He was a carpenter.

Surviving are his four sons, Mr. Joseph Charles Jones, Mr. Jason Wayne Jones, Mr. Jarrod Carl Jones and Mr. Jacob C. Jones; daughter, Ms. Saleisha Jones; three grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Bonnie James, Mrs. Joann Rhodes and Mrs. Gwen Price; brother, Gregory Best; Mother, Mrs. Louvene Jones.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. today, Feb. 12, at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, Feb. 13, at 2 p.m. at Union Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Johnson and the Rev. Evie Megginson officiating. Interment will follow in Jones Family Cemetery, Jemison.
