Local day cares participate in food program

Three day care facilities in Chilton County are sponsoring the Child and Adult Food Program at their businesses.

The day cares involved with the program are Best of Care Day Care, Inc., Children’s Learning Center and Peter Pan Day Care, all of which are located in Clanton.

Meals are available at no separate charges to enrolled participants and are provided without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.

Children who are members of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families or food stamp households or are Head Start or Even Start participants are automatically eligible for free meals.

Adult participants who are members of food stamp households or who are SSI or Medicaid participants are automatically eligible to receive free meals.
