Chilton County High played intense basketball from the start on Friday and never gave visiting Maplesville a chance as the Tigers won their last home game of the regular season, 77-40.

Maplesville tried to drive aggressively at the outset, but CCHS seemingly got their hands on the ball every time it was carried inside the 3-point line.

Chilton led 14-8 after one period and stretched the lead to 38-14 by halftime.

Kenyon Floyd led the hosts with 20 points. Teammate Kaland Farrow scored nine points, which came on three 3-point field goals in the fourth quarter.

Maplesville’s Brian Bailey led all scorers with 21 points. Josh Talley chipped in 13 points.
