James Harold “Butch” Bice, 55, went to be with Jesus, his Savior and Lord, on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009.
He was an angel of a person, born with difficulties, but he was a blessing to all who knew him. He loved everyone, and he brought sunshine into the lives of everyone he met. He loved to watch Alabama football on TV and NASCAR auto racing. His favorite TV station was channel 6, WBRC in Birmingham. He went to church at Calera Church of Christ and was residing at Carrie Gray Home in Clanton.
There was never an unhappy moment spent with Butch.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Bice, and is survived by his mother, Clara Elizabeth Bice, many cousins other relatives and friends.
His memorial service will be at Agee Brothers Funeral Home in Clanton today at 2 p.m., with visitation from 12-2 p.m. inside the chapel. Keith Jones, minister from Calera Church of Christ, will be delivering the memorial message Friday at 2 p.m. The burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery in Jemison following the funeral service.
His spirit is in heaven, and heaven has a new angel. God bless Butch Bice. In Jesus’ name, amen.
