Dear Editor,

I would be careful in editorializing about “remembering” Alabama’s loss in the Sugar Bowl without “remembering” that your Tigers were not even in a bowl this year, received that 36-0 pounding on Thanksgiving weekend and were 5-7 in ‘08.

It might be OK to editorialize one way politically, but as you should know when it comes to the rivalry you better do equal “remembering” as not to alienate your Tide subscribers. We all should heed what my pastor, Larry Anderson, preached about Sunday and that is watch our tongues.
