Karen LeCroy of Clanton and Randy LeCroy of Isabella are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley LeCroy, to Garrett Gray of Verbena, the son of Buddy and Pam Gray of Verbena.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Lambert of Clanton and Mr. and Mrs. William LeCroy of Randolph. The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Ernest Williams and Doris Williams of Verbena, the late Helen Cleckler of Clanton, Alton Headley of Montgomery, and Doris and Boland Moncrief of Montgomery.

LeCroy is a 2004 graduate of Chilton County High School. She went on to the University of Alabama and became a member of the Delta Zeta sorority where she was elected philanthropy chairman. In August 2008, she was awarded a bachelor’s degree in communicative disorders.

Gray is a 2004 graduate of Isabella High School. He went on to play baseball at Wallace State, Wallace Community College and Stillman University. While at Stillman, he helped lead his team to the SIAC Conference Championship. In May 2009, Gray will receive his bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Alabama.

A Feb. 14, 2009 wedding is planned at Magnolia Springs Manor in Helena.
