Lydia Ruth Graham celebrated her 6th birthday Dec. 4 at her home in Birmingham with family and friends.

Graham chose a dog theme for the celebration, including a beautifully decorated dog cake. The special event of the afternoon for the children was decorating gingerbread doghouses.

Graham is the third child of Amy and John Mark Graham. Her younger sister is Rebecca Anne, and her two brothers are John Will and Samuel.

Her maternal grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. Jerry Johnson of Knoxville, Tenn., and her paternal grandparents are the Rev. and Mrs. Don Graham of Clanton.
