Jamey Smith and Jimmy Cherry celebrated their wedding on Sept. 20 in a wedding chapel in the Tennessee mountains.

Smith is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Underwood of Thorsby and the late Bobby Smith. She is the granddaughter of Seymoure Childress and the late Nelva Childress.

Cherry is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Cherry of Prattville. He is the grandson of Mrs. Rachel Jennings of Prattville.

The couple will reside in Jemison.
