The Fraternal Order of Police Smith Dale Lodge recently awarded a Jaguar 125 racing edition 4-wheeler, which was donated by DS Tire & ATV, to DeePak Ahuja. The drawing was held on Dec. 13 at DS Tire.

The drawing benefited Operation: Santa Claus, a countywide toy drive.

Other winners of door prizes Randy Reid (DVD player donated by Handy TV and Appliance), Joe Mims (helmet donated by DS Tire), Jimmy Griffin (helmet donated by DS Tire), Jr. Cobb (shirt) and Debbie Mims (shirt).

Paula Belleflour was also the winner of a 110 Camo 4-wheeler given away by DS Tire & ATV. The F.O.P. was able to help 325 children in 138 families.

“We would like to thank everyone who donated money, toys, clothes and their time to help make this Christmas a little better for some of the children in our community,” Spokesperson John Shearon said.

“We hate that we were not able to help everyone who completed an application, but things were hard this year.”
