Kinslee Mims doesn’t have much time to herself since she spends a lot of extra hours in the gym at school. Playing two sports keeps her busy with practice for both basketball and softball.

“Even when you’re not in season, you have to spend time keeping in shape and working on your game so that you get better,” she said.

Physical education class is her favorite, and Mims also participates a lot in extra-curricular activities. She is a member of FCCLA, Junior Beta Club and she is on the student council.

When she has time to herself on the weekends, Mims normally spends it with her friends at the movies or with her family including dad, Travis; mom, Kristi; and sister, Kelan.

Mims is working hard in school to become a University of Alabama student where she hopes to study to become a special education teacher.

“I really love the kids, and I want to be able to help them,” she said.
