Michael Puchnaty, 73, of Clanton died Friday, Dec. 5, at Chilton Medical Center, Clanton.
He was born on Sunday, Feb. 24, 1935 in Monessen, Pa., son of the late Peter Puchnaty and the late Anna Romanuk Puchnaty.
He was an electrician with U.S. Steel. He attended Resurrection Catholic Church in Clanton.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lorraine Erkes Puchnaty of Clanton; step-son, Edward Guzikowski of New Zealand; three step-daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Denoro of Longhorne, Pa., Mrs. Diane Schoenholtz of Hopewell, N.J., Mrs. Marg Ann Reger of Rochester, Wash.; five step-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
The family requests no flowers, please make donations to The Gideons International or The American Heart Association.
Friends will be received from 9-11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 13, R Faust Funeral Home, Hulmeville, Pa. Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 13, at 11 a.m. Eastern Time at Faust Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Beechwood Cemetery.
