Holiday cheer everywhere

Thorsby held its annual Christmas parade on Saturday afternoon.

More than 30 entrants participated in the parade on the cold December morning, and residents turned out in large numbers to attend the parade.

Following the parade, the town had a Christmas program in Thorsby High School’s auditorium. This is an annual tradition.

Yesterday’s parade was the first time Thorsby has held a Saturday morning parade in several years. It was usually held on a Friday night, but safety issues involving lighting caused town officials to move the parade to the daytime.
