Sunday will be a special day of remembering for many.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 3193 will be holding a Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day ceremony. The ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday and will last for about one hour at the VFW post located at 3020 Seventh St. N. in Clanton.

The group is planning on sharing memories and information about that long day in history with a guest speaker, Gene Hitchcock, and a slide presentation.
