Thorsby’s girls team on Friday dropped a close one to Vincent, 40-36, breaking the team’s four-game winning streak.

Sharonda Cooper scored 20 points, and Amanda Hubbard had 11.

The result was better on Thursday, when the Rebels (4-2) defeated Winterboro, 44-31.

Hubbard had 18 in that one, Cooper was good for 11 and Ashlin Hilyer chipped in 10 points.
