Harold Loyd Ellison, 66, of Clanton died Saturday, Nov. 29, at his residence.
He was born on Thursday, Oct. 29, 1942 in Chilton County, son of the late Marion Ellison and the late Ila Mae Dozier Ellison. He was a carpenter.
Surviving are his daughter, Dana Ellison of Shelby; son, Jeff Ellison of Clanton; four brothers, Joe Ellison of Austin, Texas, Junior (Lin) Ellison of Abilene, Texas, Lennie (Carole) Ellison of Dayton, Ohio, Jimmy Ellison of Clanton; two sisters, Annie Ruth Wilson of Clanton, Helen Joyce Dawson of Jemison; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 2, at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Cane Creek Baptist Cemetery, Clanton.
