Clanton officials were called out on a two-vehicle wreck yesterday at 2:50 p.m. on U.S. Highway 31 just North of County Road 47.

One male and one female driver were included in the wreck with the male driver being transported to Chilton Medical Center.

Several bystanders look at the damage of this GMC truck that flipped at least twice after it collided with a Nissan car. The wreck caused the five-lane highway to be shut down to only two working lanes for around two hours. The Clanton Police Department is investigating the crash.
