Christmas is coming to Collins Chapel in two weeks.

To help celebrate the season, the Collins Chapel Fire Department is planning to have a fire truck parade. To ride in the parade, Santa Claus will be trading in his reindeer and sleigh to hitch a ride on a fire truck.

The event will be held at the Collins Chapel’s Station #1 on County Road 29 on Saturday, Dec. 13. Lineup for the parade will begin at 5 p.m. The parade will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Immediately following the parade, Santa Claus will be available for pictures, and there will be snacks and fun activities there at the station.

Collins Chapel officials said that all fire departments are welcome to attend and also be in the parade.

For more information on the parade or the event following at the fire station, contact Jeff Lowery at (205) 288-9557 or Adam Price at (334) 657-6840.

This is an annual event held each year by the Collins Chapel Fire Department.
