A three car pile-up happened yesterday in front of the Clanton Wal-Mart on US Highway 31 at 12:25 p.m.

Six people were involved in the wreck with five being transported by ambulance to the hospital.

Two victims were transported to Children’s Hospital, two were transported to Chilton Medical and one was transported to Shelby Hospital.

Clanton Police directed traffic for 45 minutes while the wreck was cleared.
