Early Saturday morning, 10 cheerleaders from Maplesville High School boarded a plane and flew to New York where they will be part of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade tomorrow morning.

According to school officials, the girls are expected to be at the lead of the parade, which airs on NBC television at 9 a.m. Thursday.

The girls are planning to return home on Friday.
