Scholarship pageant: Jemison High School held its annual Miss JHS Scholarship Pageant on Nov. 18. Eight beautiful girls participated in the pageant. The finalists were (from l to r): Katie Vinzant-2nd Alternate and winner of a $100 scholarship; Jana Davenport-2009 Miss JHS and winner of a $400 scholarship (she was also the Talent Finalist); Macy McGriff-1st Alternate and winner of a $200 scholarship (she was also the Poise and Self-expression Finalist); and Katie Jacobs-Miss Congeniality.
