Clanton Police Department

The following is an activity detail summary of the Clanton Police Department from Thursday, Nov. 6 through Wednesday, Nov. 12:

Arrests

Clanton Police arrested Marcus General Agee, 27, of Maplesville for possession of marijuana first degree and unlawful possession of controlled substance.

Clanton Police made the following arrests on misdemeanor charges (numerals indicate the number of arrests made for each charge): public intoxication (3), theft of property third degree (3), harassment (3), criminal littering (1), harassing communications (1), DUI (3), open possession of alcoholic beverage (1), assault (1).

Incidents

Theft of property/unlawful breaking and entering vehicle – Nov. 6 between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. in the City of Clanton. A leather pouch with money, an Alabama driver’s license, assorted papers and Adderall XR – at a combined value of $62 – were stolen.

Theft of property – Nov. 6 between 7:30 and 7:50 p.m. at Winn Dixie. Two Fudge Rounds, a box of Pop Tarts and a package of cookies at a combined value of $8 were stolen.

Harassment – Nov. 6 between 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the 600th block of Wyatt Road. A mailbox sustained $40 in damages.

Possession of marijuana first degree/unlawful possession of controlled substance – Nov. 6 at 3:38 p.m. in the 4,000th block of Gowan Road. Three small, clear, plastic bags containing a green, leafy substance; a small, clear, plastic bag containing off-white colored rocks; and a napkin containing three off-white, colored rocks were recovered.

Theft of property/criminal mischief – between noon Nov. 5 and noon Nov. 8 in the 2000th block of Lay Dam Road. A converter off a 1994 Range Rover valued at $900 was stolen.

Theft of property – between 9:30 p.m. Nov. 8 and midnight Nov. 9 at Friend’s Sports Café. Exactly 1,800 dollars in U.S. currency were stolen.

Theft of property – between 2 p.m. Nov. 6 and 6 a.m. Nov. 10 at the Peach Tower. Three hundred-fifty gallons of off-road diesel fuel and a pump nozzle – at a combined value of $810 – were stolen.

Robbery – Nov. 11 between 10:34 and 10:40 p.m. at Sunny Food No. 6. Exactly $300 in U.S. currency was stolen.

Maplesville Police Department

The following is an activity detail summary of the Maplesville Police Department from Wednesday, Oct. 1 through Friday, Oct. 31:

Arrests

Maplesville Police arrested Leslie Luther, 23, of Clanton for first-degree theft of property.

Maplesville Police arrested Donald Luther, 27, of Clanton for first-degree theft of property.

Maplesville Police arrested Paul Irvin, 32, of Selma for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, open container, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding.

Maplesville Police also made the following arrests on misdemeanor charges (numerals indicate the number of arrests made for each charge): domestic violence (5), simple assault (1), unlawful possession of marijuana (2), public intoxication (2), no proof of insurance (1), disorderly conduct (1), harassment (3), harassment of communications (1), pistol without a permit (2), public intoxication (2), no helmet (1), theft of property (2), violation of probation law (3), no tag (1), no seat belt (1), reckless driving (1), no state driving license (1), shoplifting (1), warrants (9).
