The Clanton Middle School Science Fair participants met Wednesday, Oct. 29. The speaker was Jarrod Lockhart, Program Coordinator for Outreach Development at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Lockhart spoke to the students about the preparation of their science fair projects. He discussed the process and procedures involved in the development and preparation of winning science fair projects. He also discussed the specific steps involved in the preparation, planning and exhibiting of science fair projects.

Clanton Middle School will have their science fair Nov. 20 -21. Event winners will attend the Regional Science and Engineering Fair at UAB in March, 2009.
