People always say there’s never enough good news in the paper. That is probably sometimes true, but today’s edition is one exception.

Look on the front page and you will see examples of people giving of themselves to help other people in the community.

One man is training to run a marathon to help raise money for children who have been diagnosed with cancer, while a group of young boys spent yesterday out in the cold gathering money and food donations to give out to locals who are in need.

We enjoy writing and reading about these people, and agree that more of these kind of things need to be in the public eye.
