The University of Alabama Board of Trustees will consider a proposal to expand Bryant-Denny Stadium.

At their meeting Thursday, trustees will be asked to approve the estimated cost, design and other plans to enlarge the south end zone.

UA officials said if the project goes forward, the stadium’s seating capacity would expand by 9,000 to more than 101,000 seats.

The university has previously said the high demand for Alabama football tickets is at an all-time high.
