Mary L. Howell, 75, of Clanton died Monday, Nov. 10, at Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham.
She was born on Friday, March 31, 1933 in Chilton County, daughter of the late Clifford Littleton and the late Katie Baker.
She worked in the textile industry.
Surviving are her three sons, Mr. Wayne Howell of Clanton, Mr. Jake Howell of Jemison, Mr. Jimmy Howell of Thorsby; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Jo Dyer of Montgomery, Mrs. Brenda Clark of Clanton, Mrs. Faye Greer of Centreville, Mrs. Sandra McMon of Columbiana and Mrs. Sally Emfinger of Clanton; 22 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren, Mr. Clifford Littleton Jr., Tenn.; sister, Mrs. Katie Mae Lain of Clanton.
Friends will be received from noon to 1 p.m., today, Nov. 12, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held today, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony D. Smitherman officiating. Interment will follow in Sardis Baptist Cemetery, Maplesville.
