Mr. and Mrs. John Harold Williams of Birmingham are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming wedding of their daughter, Shannon Dora Williams, to Christopher Brian Wyatt, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Eugene Wyatt II of Clanton.

Shannon is the granddaughter of Mrs. Fay Dansby of Pancea, Fla., and the late Mr. Bingham Horton of Panama City, Fla., and the late Mr. and Mrs. John William Williams of Birmingham.

Brian is the grandson of Mrs. Ruby Thrash and the late Mr. Truman Thrash of Clanton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Wyatt I of Clanton. Brian has two daughters, Madison and Abigail Wyatt.

Shannon is a 1997 graduate of the University of Montevallo. She is a third grade teacher at Clanton Intermediate School.

Brian is a 1995 graduate of Auburn University. He is employed by State Farm Insurance in Homewood.

The wedding is set for Dec. 6 at 2 p.m at Clanton First United Methodist Church. A reception will follow. All family, friends and church family are invited. Brian and Shannon will reside in Thorsby.
