Cleveland Mims, 72, of Verbena died Saturday, Nov. 1, at his residence.
He was born on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 1936 in Chilton County, son of the late Elaza Mims and the late Leona Mims. He was a foreman.
Surviving are his wife, Dolores Mims of Verbena; three sons, Buddy (Janet) Bussie of Verbena, Simon (Mary Ann) Bussie of Jemison and Tony Bussie of Verbena; four daughters, Sandi (Danny) Bearden of Clanton, Teresa (Rex) Marcus of Clanton, Donna (Forrest) Sutton of Florida and Arlene (Mike) Carr of Tuscaloosa; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.
Friends were received from 5-8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 3, at Eagle Cove Worship Center, Jemison.

Services will be held today, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m. at Eagles Cove Worship Center with the Rev. Simon Bussie officiating.
Pallbearers are Dennis Shalfley, Chris Blaizdel, Jeremy Mims, Roy Dickons, Jamie Childress and T.J. Rohrbough.
Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton.
