Dear Editor,

Right after the last election, the commissioners voted 5-2 in favor of a 17 percent pay increase for themselves and a few other county officials.

The five commissioners to vote for the raise were Joe Headley, Bobby Agee, Heedy Hayes, Glenda Strength and Alan Akin.

All of these commissioners knew the pay scale before the election but decided to give themselves along with a few other county officials a very hansome raise.

As we go to the poles let us vote for the officials that will take their positions very seriously and will work for the good of the county.
