Chilton County people are known to be generous, especially when it comes to giving blood. But undoubtedly, there are people in this county who are perfectly capable of giving blood but have never taken the simple steps to become donors.

There are constantly people in our county, city, state and nation who are in need of blood. This is a need that will not go away.

Mark your calendar for Oct. 26, as the American Red Cross will hold a blood drive at West End Baptist Church from 11:30-5. Also stay alert for other blood drives in our area.

Giving blood today could mean a great deal to a loved one tomorrow.
