Downed pole: Two Clanton police officers and an Alabama Power worker investigate what happened when this truck ran off of Highway 31 in Clanton and struck a power pole, snapping it in two. The crash occurred around noon Monday in front of Dari Delite South, and it caused a traffic jam in downtown Clanton. The driver wasn’t seriously injured in the crash.
