Maplesville, Thorsby and Verbena high schools will be having homecoming festivities this week.

Thorsby will be having a homecoming parade Friday afternoon at 1:50 p.m., but Maplesville and Verbena will not be having parades.

Maplesville will have a bonfire on Thursday night at 7 and a pep rally in the football stadium at 2 p.m. Verbena will also be having a pep rally Friday. They will also be honoring the classes of 1958, 1968, 1978, 1988 and 1999.

Verbena will announce its homecoming queen before the football game Friday night while Maplesville and Thorsby will present the titles of homecoming queens at halftime.

All games will begin at 7 p.m. Friday. Thorsby is hosting Horseshoe Bend. Maplesville will face Autaugaville, and Isabella travels to Verbena.
