Judy Melton Mims

Judy Earlene Melton Mims, 59, of Clanton died Sunday, Sept. 21, at her residence.
She was born Thursday, Dec. 9, 1948 in Chilton County, daughter of Earl W. Melton and the late Lorene Price Melton. She was an elementary teacher.
Survivors include her husband, Troy Oneal Mims of Clanton; two sons, Leslie Oneal (Jennifer) Mims of Birmingham, Brett Ashley (Lindsay) Mims of Hoover; sister, Pat (Doug) Coe of Clanton; father, Earl W. Melton of Clanton; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Kent Dodson and the Rev. Roland Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
