Local resident accepted to UA School of Medicine

Jacob Seales, a graduate of Maplesville High School and Huntingdon College in Montgomery, has been accepted to UASOM in Birmingham.

Seales was one of 176 students accepted out of 1,200 students that received interviews from the Board of Ad-missions. He has completed his first three weeks of ethics class after which the students that pass receive their White Coats.

Seales plans to complete the first four years, after which he will receive his MD, then he will enter into the residency of his choosing.

He is the son of Tommy and Janet Seales of Stanton. He has one brother, Jonathan, who is in his third year at Troy University studying criminal justice.
