Lena Marie Parker, 86, of Thorsby died Friday, Sept. 19, at her residence.
She was born on Wednesday, March 15, 1922 in Chilton County, daughter of the late Marvin C. Jackson and the late Ruth Kate Littleton. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her son, Aaron Parker of Clanton; two daughters, Mary Kate (Harold) Garrison of Thorsby, Elaine (John) Blake of Woodstock; six granddaughters, two grandsons, 15 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Huey Matthew Parker; son, Edward Parker; two granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Shelby Parker.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Services will be held today, Sept. 20, at 2 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donald Jones and the Rev. Buddy Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery, Thorsby.
