Camp sendoff: Patrick Cooper of Maplesville was sponsored by the Maplesville Lions Club to attend the Alabama Special Camp for Children and Adults for a week. Cooper was able to ride horses, go swimming, play games and shoot at the shooting range. “I had a real good time,” he said. This is the fourth year the club has sponsored Cooper’s trip to the camp. He is the son of Leroy and Sabrina Cooper of Maplesville. Shown are Jimmy Stewart, Richard Harrison, Patrick Cooper and W.C. Hayes.
